The Packaging Engineer will develop innovative, cost-effective, and sustainable packaging solutions. This role involves designing, testing, and optimizing packaging systems to support product protection, operational efficiency, and environmental goals.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Packaging Design & Process Management:
Design and engineer optimal packaging solutions.
Analyze products to determine ideal packaging configurations.
Optimize stacking methods for space utilization and stability.
Load Testing & Validation:
Conduct rigorous testing to ensure packaging meets standards.
Collaborate on secure palletization strategies.
Continuous Improvement & Engineering:
Identify and implement process improvements.
Research and implement new materials and technologies.
Lead sustainability initiatives.
Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams:
Partner with other teams to integrate packaging designs with operations.
Packaging Performance & Quality Assurance:
Ensure packaging meets quality standards.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting:
Provide technical support for packaging issues.
Documentation & Reporting:
Maintain detailed records and generate performance reports.
Develop interactive dashboards and advanced reporting systems.
Maintain up-to-date documentation of packaging specifications and SOPs.
