Insight Global is looking for an Intermediate z/OS System Programmer responsible for installing, configuring, maintaining, and testing IBM & OEM software products. You will coordinate software implementation plans, upgrades, and testing with Senior Systems Programmers, ensuring optimized performance within a z/OS Parallel Sysplex environment. You will adhere to compliance standards, collaborate on product maintenance schedules, and participate in disaster recovery testing. Support for problem identification and resolution for assigned OEM software products is also part of the role. You will be required to work on-site every Wednesday and the third Friday of each month. Details on your work arrangement will be discussed during the interview.

You can demonstrate 5 years experience in: z/OS systems programming with focus on IBM & OEM Software (e.g., BMC , Broadcom, IBM , SAS etc . )
Review & Apply PTF's / APAR fixes for known issues, vulnerabilities to ensure software products are secure, resilient @ vendor supported levels.
Working knowledge of IBM Tools ( IPCS , SMP/E , WLM, ISPF, ICKDSF, RACF, JES/2, OMEGAMON, MAINVIEW ) and other relevant tools.
You are an Excellent Communicator.
Proficiency with scripting languages (JCL, REXX and CLIST ) an asset.
Working knowledge of Assembler or Cobol programing an asset.
