Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled CNC Operator to join our clients production team. The successful candidate
will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines and 3D printers
to produce production and engineering parts according to specifications. The CNC Operator will
ensure that products meet quality standards and production goals while maintaining an efficient
work environment.

This role will have an estimated annual salary range of $45k-$55k CAD.

Required Skills & Experience

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC machines
Perform post CNC tasks such as painting, using a router, drilling and grinding.
Interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical instructions to determine
machine settings and specifications.
Program CNC machines using G-code or other programming languages as required.
Load raw materials and prepare a test run to ensure accuracy of machine settings.
Monitor the machine operations and make adjustments as necessary to maintain
product quality and consistency.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet specifications and quality standards.
Perform routine maintenance on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machine operations and programming.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols and guidelines.
Collaborate with team members, supervisors, and engineers.
Document and report production data, including machine settings, production output,
and quality control results.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience as a CNC Operator.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong knowledge of G-code and other CNC programming languages.
Ability to use precision measuring tools.
Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy materials as needed.
