Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a General Manager for one our top retail clients in Alliston, ON. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a growing team that is dedicated to building meaningful relationships with its contractors, community, and staff. This position will be responsible for the daily operations of the store according to set goals and business objectives. Daily operations will include staff management and supervision, contractor and customer service, achieving sales targets, exciting product presentation, inventory management, and carrying out seasonal changeover and promotional activities.

Required Skills & Experience

Minimum of 5 years work experience in the retail and lumber and building materials industry
Minimum of 2 years work experience in a management role
Proven customer service skills, ability to train new staff, effective communicator and team builder
Able to plan, organize, and delegate work effectively and manage multiple projects
Alignment with the culture and values of Home Hardware

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Previous experience at Home Depot, Rona, Lowes
