Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Product Analyst of Upstream Supply Chain (USC) Data Analytics to join an athletic apparel retail company remotely in Canada for a 12-month contract. This person will work cross functionally across multiple USC systems and will be a critical cross functional addition to the team. They will support the Product Manager to drive value in data analytics for USC by overseeing regulatory initiatives pre-delivery to the distribution center that relate to product quality, product integrity, product sustainability, product traceability, and global compliance. They will be taping into the data from these USC systems and making it usable for the business by supporting the development of the Vendor Scorecard. This Vendor Scorecard will be the main initiative for the Product Analyst and aims to make data visible and usable to the business. You will work closely with Product Manager and the various technical teams supporting these initiatives to set priorities, plan their road map for the quarters and year, and define their requirements in Jira. On a typical day you will be looking at multiple programs and requirements and working closely with business teams to help them understand the why.

Required Skills & Experience

1+ years experience in supply chain, preferably pre-delivery to the distribution center but DC experience would be valuable as well
1+ years of experience in product management or other similar/transferable capacity (i.e. business analyst) in which you are implementing software and/or working on data analytics projects
Previous experience using or implementing supply chain management systems supporting product integrity (i.e. quality, sustainability, traceability, testing, inspections, responsible supply chain and/or chemical management) and/or vendor/supplier relationship management

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience with Agile
Experience with SAFE methodology in Agile
Experience with data visualization platforms such as PowerBI or Tableau
Apparel, Footwear, and/or Accessories experience
