Job Description

Job Description Summary:

This on-site position (between 3 Sites Toronto & Markham) will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of contracts related to construction projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional
teams, internal and external stakeholders to manage contractual agreements, mitigate risks, and drive compliance at the Construction job site. Your attention to detail, your commercial, contractual and negotiation skills, and ability to navigate complex contractual landscapes will be essential for this role.

Job Responsibilities:
Prepare regular status reports on issues, risks and mitigations for internal stakeholders.
Prepare contractual notices and register the logs as appropriate using language from terms & conditions.
Holding entitlement meetings & Claims management as required per contractual terms and conditions.
Participate in daily, weekly construction meetings at site along with owner stakeholder to provide commercial
feedback when required.
Set and monitor product standards to ensure quality finished products.
Prepare and manage the change orders as per contractual terms and conditions.
Prepare and manage RFP process for GC in Ariba.
Understanding of the contract terms and conditions while ensuring compliance from
relevant parties.

Required Skills & Experience

2 - 4 years experience as a Construction Contracts Manager/Coordinator
Experience in handling various contract types (for example - Guaranteed Maximum Price, Lumpsum, Unit Rate, Hybrid and others)
- Experience preparing and managing RFP's in Ariba or similar tool
- Experience developing and negotiating contract terms and conditions specifically for contracts related to services, construction, engineering, materials and equipment installation
Knowledge of machines and tools, including their designs, uses, storage and maintenance.
Reasonable knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles involved in production of precision technical plans, blueprints, drawings and models.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Associate's degree in electrical, civil, mechanical or related field preferred.
