Insight Global is seeking an experienced Sr Consultant, Data Governance to join the Data & Analytics team within a leading financial institution in Toronto, ON on a contract basis. In this role, youll lead the development of the team's data governance policy, standards, and controls. Youll manage oversight mechanisms across business units to ensure policy adherence. Youll also support the creation of work packages related to Data Governance and Risk Assessments, and assist in various data risk assessment processes.

-6+ years of experience in data governance, data and records management, policy and compliance or risk management.
-Experience working with senior executives and a variety of internal & external stakeholders
-Experience with Canadian regulatory bodies, including OSFI
-Degree or certification within in a relevant field, including Information Management, Data Management, Business Administration, etc.
-Demonstrated proficiency with technical and policy writing
-Strong understanding of data governance and management best practices and data lifecycle management.
-Strong communication and presentation skills
- FI experience
-Able to work 1-2x a week onsite in downtown Toronto
