Insight Global is seeking an experienced ServiceNow CMDB Admin to join our dynamic team on a 6-month contract basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for onboarding new and existing Configuration Items (CIs) into ServiceNow Discovery and Service Mapping within our complex IT environment. The administrator This environment includes a mixture of Windows and non-Windows servers, as well as various network gear. This role requires experience in ServiceNow CMDB administration, discovery, and service mapping.

· 5+ years of experience with the ServiceNow platform
· 5+ years of configuration management and CMDB maintenance experience
· Service mapping project before not just the CMDB
· Working knowledge of the Common Service Data Model (CSDM).
· Hands-on experience with Service Mapping and Discovery processes
· Expertise in data intake integrations from various sources
· Development and maintenance of CMDB policies, processes, and standards
· Proficiency in troubleshooting complex ServiceNow CMDB issues
· Experience in identifying and resolving Discovery issues
· Knowledge of Windows servers, non-Windows servers (UNIX, Linux) and network gear
· In-depth understanding of networking principles and protocols
· Familiarity with ServiceNow reconciliation process and mapping frameworks
· Proficiency in ServiceNow discovery patterns and scripts (PowerShell, JavaScript)
· Completion of ServiceNow discovery fundamentals certification
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
· Bachelors degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience
· Preferred accreditations/certifications in ServiceNow products like Discovery, Service Mapping, and ITOM
· ITIL 4 certification is considered an asset
· Minimum 5 years of experience with ServiceNow CMDB, Discovery, and Service Mapping
· Experience in complex IT environments with diverse systems and networks.
Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple tasks and priorities.
