Insight Global is seeking an experienced Litigation Law Clerk/Paralegal to support the Toronto office of an AM 100 law firm. The ideal candidate with have detailed knowledge of court forms, filing rules and deadlines of the Ontario Rules of Civil Procedure and eFiling, as well as the ability to identify and ensure compliance with court rules of all other Canadian Provinces. The primary responsibilities include supporting the attorneys on assigned cases and projects, case file management, assisting with damages briefs, reviewing documents and preparing event chronologies, reviewing discovery events and court decisions from CanLii, WestLaw, amongst other things. The role sits hybrid 3 days in the office and is a 1 year long contract with the firm.

-Minimum 3 years as a Process Server, Litigation Law Clerk/Paralegal role
-Solid working knowledge of the Rules of Civil Procedure, knowing what needs to be filed and when;
-Proven writings skills, with the ability to draft various legal documents
-Law Clerk/Paralegal diploma and university education is a plus
-Familiarity with CanLii, WestLaw, Relativity, ACL, Excel, and TextMap is preferred
