Insight Global is seeking an experienced Solution Architect Lead to join a large financial consulting client in downtown Toronto (hybrid 3 days/week) on a 6 month contract to hire basis. In this role, you will be responsible for driving Solution Architecture best practices across the CIS teams. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing strategic direction, and thought mentorship to a global team of Solution Architects. Your primary focus will be on enabling them to deliver solutions aligned with the technical strategy. You will manage resource allocation and technical development. Hands on technical experience with Platform Engineering.

· 10+ years experience as a senior solution architect with hands-on experience in solutions design and the ability to provide oversight on multiple projects at once
·Hands-on Platform Engineering experience
· Extensive experience designing solutions for business applications that can be rapidly built, tested and deployed using Agile best practices
· Advanced communication skills at all levels, including the ability to convey complex technical strategy and obstacles to senior business and technology partners
· In-depth knowledge of modern software architectures, including microservices, APIs, cloud computing, data insights and modernization patterns
· MEAN stack, Python, or any other middleware technologies
· AWS Cloud
· Secure By Design concepts, Secure DevOps
· Exposure to Big Data / Data Lake / LakeHouse/ BI Tools
· Multi Factor Authentication, Single Sign On (OAuth, SAML)
· Containerization / Kubernetes
· Application Performance Monitoring (APM) techniques
· Large language models
· Recognized document standards (C4, UML, Archimate)
· Previous experience working for a large consulting company
