Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an AEM DevOps Engineer to join the team at one of our largest banking clients on a 6-month contract with the potential for extension. The chosen candidate will be working with the organization to re-vamp, re-design, and re-architecture their existing website. and will be responsible for the following:
- Creation/Operation of CI/CD pipelines & deployment using Cloud manager/Jenkins/similar tools to AEM author, publish & dispatcher for Different environments including production.
- Proactive Monitoring of overall infrastructure ( Logs/Resources etc.) with/without monitoring tools like Splunk/Cloud Manager CLI.
- Analyzing Thread Dumps and Heap Dumps to identify the root cause of an issue.
- Planning/Managing for cutover & go-live activities along with deployment of different related components in AEM.
- Configure/set up different DevOps tools for AEM build, test & deploy stages on different server Linux/windows OS running on AWS/Azure/Adobe AMS cloud environments.
- Debugging/performance tuning of different tiers in AEM (Author, publish, dispatcher & CDN).
- Debugging different issues of AEM cloud service related to asset micro-services.
- Configuring & running different AEM maintenance & cleanup job.
- Automation of recurring operations wherever possible.
Required Skills & Experience
- Understanding of AEM Build & DevOps process, Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery (CI/CD).
- Experience in CDN & Dispatcher setup and configuration which includes caching AEM on-premises, AMS & AEM as the cloud.
- Performance tuning of author/publish/dispatcher servers.
- Experience in Adobe Experience Manager Administration (Installation, Setup, Config, Backup, Restore) on Linux/Windows.
- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms such as Azure or AWS for AEM.
- Experience with various tools such as Maven, Nexus/Artifactory, Jenkins/TeamCity, Subversion/Git, and Docker with Knowledge of shell & curl scripting.
- Proficient in one or more monitoring and logging tools: Nagios, Logstash, Splunk. Splunk is preferred.
- Experience with security concepts, tools, methodologies, and implementation best practices for Adobe Experience Manager
- Experience in Adobe Cloud Manager/ Cloud Manager CLI, asset microservices, and replication services will be preferred.
- Experience in SSL/certificates/SAML/Ldap/ user migration between Ldap & Adobe IMS is preferred.
- Experience with containerization orchestration tools such as Docker & Kubernetes will be preferred.
- Experience in planning for cut-over activities, go live/cut-over, and production deployment for AEM.
