Insight Global is looking for an AutoCAD Designer to join a leading automotive company. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the shop floor layout of both the Woodstock and Cambridge locations. Working alongside the engineering and pilot project team, you will be vetting ideas for process layouts and making dimensional adjustments to current documentation. Lastly, there will be an opportunity to expand your skills in design creating rough concepts for vendors, and jigs/fixtures of vehicles.
- 2+ years of experience using AutoCAD to create 2D drawings
- Hands on experience with SolidWorks
- Strong communication skills
- College degree or equivalent related to mechanical design (technician)
- Flexibility for overtime work and weekends
