Job Description

Insight Global is looking for an Agile Coach to join an Insurance Company located downtown Toronto. The success candidate will be responsible for the follow:



Facilitate current state retrospective(s) as needed to understand current challenges and help inform improvement backlog

Validate/Refine Value Streams and Products and align to the proper Portfolio(s)

Socialize Product mindset throughout both the Business and IT organizations

Support the development of a Portfolio/Product Roadmap

Assist in identifying and enabling Product Managers and Product Owners that own the prioritization of work items within the roadmap

Implement the appropriate Agile methodology supporting delivery alignment to product mindset and defined roadmap

Understanding what it will take to move forward from current state operations

Establishing proper roles in the Lean Portfolio Management and Product teams

Clearly represent differentiating business outcomes

Defining a modern system for efficiently and effectively evaluating, approving, and prioritizing major initiatives

Creating visibility and alignment across your entire portfolio/product team

Developing smart measures to evaluate portfolio/product effectiveness

Instantiating adaptive mechanisms to govern operations and value delivery

Improving capability to make strategic pivots

Accelerating the shift to product thinking

Implementing modern, effective measurements for business results

Introducing modern funding mechanisms

Required Skills & Experience

* 7+ years of enterprise level experience working as an Agile Coach

* 5 years if experience in Product Management.

* Have completed the following tasks in their previous engagements:

o Created Application Portfolios that aligns to product groups

o Look at trying to initial prioritization planning

o Create communication and socialization plan to support product mindset and transformation

o Work with departments, create lunch and learns, workshops to create common understanding as to benefits.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Previous Insurance experience

* Insurance Product Experience is preferred(Claims, Policy, Underwriting, Billing, Payments)
