Network Engineer

Insight Global is looking for a Jr/Intermediate level network engineer to join one of our largest Software Engineering Clients in Canada.

Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal skills



· Outstanding customer service skills



· Applying a deep technical understanding of industry standards network infrastructure, and technical solution trends



Recognize, identify and prioritize incidents in accordance with customer business requirements, organizational policies and operational impact

Comfortable upgrading, patching and replacing servers(server 2012, and 2016)

Experience provisioning workstations and providing remote support

· Experienced in managing and administering windows server and Linux environments



Plan and implement automation to increase efficiency

Collaborating with peers to execute daily operations and special projects

Upgrading and migrating network equipment

Understanding of best practices regarding system security

2-4 years of experience working with network equipment and

Comfortable in working with network hardware and doing proper cable management

Knowledgeable with Various network protocols (DHCP, SNMP, DNS, STP, ARP, ICMP, FTP, VPN etc.)

Able to lift items up to 25 LBS

Sharing knowledge, discoveries, ideas, challenges, and solutions with peers, Managers, and Executives
