Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Windows Consultant to join one of our leading loyalty and marketing organizations for a 7-month contract opportunity. The selected individual will be joining the Windows and Infrastructure team and will be responsible for the day-to-day administration of organizations' Windows server infrastructure, VMware infrastructures, managed endpoint devices, Mobile Device Management platforms, Microsoft Office 365 platform, Azure AD and various SaaS-based solutions. Ensure all devices adhere to existing compliance and security standards, including regular Operating System and third-party application patching-- Benchmark new Operating System versions against industry-standard security baselines such as CIS.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience supporting a mixed endpoint environment such as Windows Severs OS (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022), endpoint OS 10/11, macOS, iOS, and Android
- 5+ years' experience managing Microsoft 365 and AzureAD
- 5+ years of experience in Windows server 2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022 experience
- 5+ years, of experience managing VMware infrastructure, Hands on experience in working with Hyper-converged environments (VxRail, Nutanix)
- 5+ years' experience in one or more scripting tools (ex: Batch, PowerShell, Bash)
- 5+ years Citrix VirtualApp and Desktops experience or other VDI solutions such as AWS Workspaces or Azure Virtual Desktop
- 5+ years' experience with various endpoint management solutions. This includes SCCM, InTune and JAMF
- 5+ years of Active Directory experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent report and documentation writing skills
