Job Description
Insight Global is seeking an Industrial Engineer to join a large oil and gas manufacturer onsite in Oklahoma City, OK. This person will be joining the process engineering team and will provide support by utilizing their critical thinking skills and solving problems in manufacturing and associated processes. They will be responsible for researching, designing, developing, testing, and modifying the manufacturing processes for products while conducting trials to provide engineer solutions to manufacturing problems. They will also have project management responsibilities such as analyzing and planning workflow while developing, proposing, executing, and communicating data driven solutions. Ideally, this person will have STRONG CNC machining knowledge in addition to operator knowledge.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an ABET accredited school
- 3-5 years of experience in an engineering position
- Strong knowledge of CAD/CAM, Solidworks, and MS Office skills
- 3 years of experience of mechanical and electrical manufacturing process (CNC processes, robotics, assembly and testing)
- 3 years of experience in CNC machining and automation processes
- Experience within manufacturing on the machining side (not just operator knowledge)
- Strong ability to read and interpret complex engineering prints
- Ability to demonstrate use of Lean Manufacturing concepts (valve stream mapping, single piece flow, 5S)
