Job Description
Day to Day:
Insight Global is seeking a Senior Business Analyst local to Oklahoma City to support a large-scale 3rd party annuity system implementation, replacing a legacy platform. This is a high-visibility transformation initiative focused on modernizing annuity operations, improving system capabilities, and enabling better integration across internal applications.
This project is already in-flight and has experienced challenges, so the team is looking for a tenured, senior-level Business Analyst who can take ownership and help drive structure and direction. The Project Manager is currently operating more at a program level, so this individual will play a critical role in owning day-to-day BA responsibilities, helping stabilize execution, and ensuring alignment across teams.
This resource will work closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, and a 3rd party vendor to gather and refine requirements, document current and future state processes, and support the successful transition from the legacy annuity system to the new platform.
This role is preferably based in Oklahoma City, but the client is open to remote candidates with occasional travel for key meetings and milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead requirements gathering and discovery sessions across business units and technical teams
Translate business needs into clear functional requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
Document current state (legacy system) and define future state processes for the annuity platform
Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and 3rd party vendor, ensuring alignment on requirements and deliverables
Utilize Azure DevOps for backlog management, user story tracking, and project planning activities
Support system implementation efforts, including integration touchpoints, data migration validation, and UAT coordination
Identify and drive resolution of gaps, risks, and dependencies across the implementation
Provide structure and ownership to the BA function to help stabilize and course-correct the project where needed
Partner closely with leadership to ensure consistent communication and progress across a complex stakeholder landscape
Compensation:
$50/hr to $60/hr.
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
