Job Description
As an Engineer Sr., you will conduct technical and economic evaluations, performance testing, design and construction of new and existing facilities, and research on new developments, applying your strong understanding of industry and operational requirements. Taking initiative and anticipating customer needs will make you a stand-out player. Confidence in presentation-making and the ability to work independently and as a team leader are also vital in this role!
As a subject matter expert in Power Engineering, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership in engineering designs and maintenance as well as reliability best practices for electrical equipment across the company. You will provide internal power engineering support for Project Execution and Technical Services. You will interpret industry best practices, standards, and regulatory codes, and provide assessments, strategies, and recommendations for all adoptions.

Required Skills & Experience
- 8+ years of electrical/power engineering experience in natural gas, midstream, or petrochemical
- Strong hands-on experience with:
○ Power system studies (arc flash, coordination, load flow)
○ Electrical system design and reliability
- Experience leading large or complex engineering projects
- Experience applying industry standards (API, IEEE, NEC, NFPA)
- Experience with tools like ETAP, SKM, SEL / GE relay software
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical issues
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Experience mentoring junior engineers
- Project management experience
- Exposure to multiple electrical specialty areas (design, operations, maintenance)
