Job Description

The Procurement / Sourcing Specialist is responsible for supporting the purchase of goods and services to ensure quality, cost, and delivery expectations are met. This role manages key activities across the procurement lifecycle, including supplier coordination, contract support, and internal collaboration, to help maximize value and efficiency across the organization.

Responsibilities include supporting purchasing strategies, evaluating pricing and market conditions, maintaining supplier relationships, assisting with contract negotiations, tracking procurement performance metrics, managing risk related to suppliers and contracts, and partnering closely with finance and operations to ensure clear requirements and alignment.

The ideal candidate is a detail‑oriented procurement professional who is comfortable supporting day‑to‑day purchasing activities and working closely with vendors and internal teams. They have hands‑on experience managing purchase orders, pricing, and supplier coordination, and can keep work moving across multiple requests without losing accuracy. This person is organized, collaborative, and proactive, with the ability to communicate clearly, follow defined processes, and adapt in a fast‑paced environment while supporting broader supply chain and procurement objective


Compensation:
$21/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
- 1-2 years of experience as a procurement specialist or in a similar position with in-depth knowledge of sourcing and procurement principles and best practices
- Proven familiarity with supply chain management software and tools, such as inventory management systems and supplier databases
- Analytical mindset with strategic thinking capabilities and high attention to detail.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of managing multiple stakeholders and fostering key supplier relationships.
