Job Description
The Associate Level Technical Data Designer supports the development of all publication elements for all levels of maintenance for a new or fielded major equipment system or multiple sub systems. The candidate selected for this role will collect, research, and analyze source data, identify source data inaccuracies and take corrective action. They will also develop technical publication, project plans, budget, and baseline schedules, as well as conduct peer reviews of completed publication elements. Additionally, they will participate in or conduct customer technical and program reviews.
Compensation: Up to $38.36/hr up based on experience. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role include available request.

Required Skills & Experience
· 4 years of experience in aircraft mission maintenance, mission operations, training systems, or ground systems.
· 4 years of experience working with E-6, E-3, E-4B, C-32, C-40, or similar mission aircraft.
· 4 years of experience using and applying technical publications effectively.
· Associate degree or higher preferred
· Experience with document authoring tools (e.g., Microsoft Word, Adobe FrameMaker, Arbortext) and possibly specialized TO development software.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Develop clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical orders based on engineering data and specifications.
· Interpret and analyze engineering drawings, test results, and technical data to ensure correct documentation.
· Ensure all technical orders comply with established formats, standards, and regulatory requirements.
· Collaborate with engineers, subject matter experts, and end-users to gather, verify, and validate technical information.
· Utilize document authoring tools and specialized software to create and maintain technical orders.
· Review and edit technical orders to maintain high quality, accuracy, and consistency.
· Manage project timelines and coordinate inputs from multiple stakeholders to meet publication deadlines.
· Conduct quality assurance checks to ensure compliance with technical and editorial standards.
· Maintain up-to-date knowledge of relevant military or industry standards and regulations related to technical documentation.
· Provide technical support and clarification to users of the technical orders as needed.
