Job Description

Evaluate ultrasound probes on ultrasound systems for functionality and imaging quality.
Optimize ultrasound system settings for test result accuracy.
Determine if image artifacts exist in 2D, Color Doppler and/or CW modes.
Interpret "First Call" diagnostic reports for quality conformance and repair needs.
Partial disassembly of a transducer to determine repair requirements.
Determine grade of ultrasound probes based on established standards.
Work with internal resources to determine what repairs can be accomplished.
Input evaluation findings and photos into database and communicate to the sales team
Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Aid in the training of other employees in new or existing procedures

Required Skills & Experience

High School Diploma/GED or a minimum of 2 years of related experience to work activities or equivalent combination of education and experience
1-3 years of hands-on experience working with medical devices or mechanicals/electronics (really just technical aptitude)
Basic knowledge of personal computers and ability to work with common office suite
Electromechanical knowledge
Ability to work within Probo's internal MRP system (Salesforce)
Possess a high level of patience, attention to detail and adaptability.
Self-starter able to work independently without much oversight.
Excellent oral/written communication skills.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Ability to interpret ultrasound images and translate issues into operational direction and documentation
