Day to Day
This role supports a government program focused on the B‑52 aircraft platform, leveraging modern digital engineering and model‑based systems engineering (MBSE) practices. The Digital Engineer will be responsible for building, maintaining, and evolving system models that capture requirements, architecture, and system behavior using Cameo Systems Modeler and related digital tools.
The ideal candidate will work closely with systems engineers, program stakeholders, and government customers to ensure accurate, traceable, and data‑driven system representations. This position plays a key role in advancing digital transformation initiatives by integrating data across platforms and improving system visibility, analysis, and decision‑making.
Responsibilities include developing MBSE artifacts, supporting requirements analysis, maintaining digital system baselines, and ensuring models align with program objectives and government standards. This role requires strong technical communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to operate in a highly structured, security‑focused environment.
Compensation:
$160,000 - $165,000 per year annual salary.

Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in the aerospace industry
3+ years of experience with Cameo
Experience with Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE)
Active Secret Clearance
Experience working with government or DoD programs
Ability to translate complex technical data into clear digital models and artifacts
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Knowledge of military standards
Knowledge of DOORS database management
Top Secret clearance
