Job Description

The Sr. Supply Chain Manager is responsible for leading end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution. What you will do is listed below.

Strategic Supply Chain Leadership
• Execute Wind Towers supply chain strategy tied to EBITDA, safety, quality, and delivery.
• Standardize procurement, planning, logistics, inventory, and supplier processes.
• Drive Lean, 4T’s, and data driven improvements.
• Mitigate supply chain risks.
Procurement & Supplier Management
• Support sourcing for steel, flanges, consumables, coatings, freight, and key components.
• Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing, and long term agreements.
• Maintain supplier scorecards and lead audits and corrective actions.
Production Planning & Inventory
• Lead demand planning, MRP, and capacity alignment.
• Optimize raw, WIP, and finished goods inventory.
• Reduce stockouts, excess inventory, and premium freight.
• Support forecasting, S&OP, and cost modeling.
Logistics & Transportation
• Optimize truck, rail, port, and international logistics.
• Manage carriers, 3PLs, and freight contracts.
• Lower transportation cost per ton and improve OTIF.
Compliance, Safety & Governance
• Ensure supplier and logistics compliance with safety, ethical, and regulatory standards.
• Support ARC100, EHS programs, and SOX controls.
People Leadership
• Develop supply chain managers, buyers, planners, and logistics teams.
• Build bench strength and succession plans.
• Promote accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Required Skills & Experience

• 10+ years leading supply chain operations in heavy manufacturing, steel, energy, or large fabrication.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Operations, or related field.
• Skilled in negotiation, contracts, and supplier development.
• Experienced with ERP/MRP tools, S&OP, and analytics.
• Continuous Improvement (Lean, Six Sigma mindset)

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• MBA
• Multi-site experience
