Job Description
Insight Global is looking for an AS400 developer to support a State Agency Mainframe system.
Responsibilities Include:
· Member of support team working
o Help desk tickets solving user issues
o Break fixes
o Occasional software enhancements
· Support transitional efforts from AS400 to .Net environments
· Execute periodic tasks:
o File upload/download
o Yearend budget/financial rollovers
· Document existing processes to support software conversion efforts
Compensation: $60/hr to $65/hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Required Skills & Experience
· Minimum of 5 years working in an AS400 software development environment
· Minimum of 5 years working with COBOL/400 developing and implementing applications
· Minimum of 5 years working with AS400/CL developing and implementing applications
· Minimum of 5 years working with AS400/DDS developing and implementing applications
· Minimum of 5 years working with IBM DB2/SQL developing and implementing applications
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
· Experience working in an Agile environment
· Experience with Peoplesoft or other Financial systems
· PeopleSoft development tools
· .Net development
· JAVA and PHP developing and implementing applications in a Web environment
