* 7-10 + years' experience managing USACE Civil Works construction projects.
o Relevant project experience may include:
Environmental restoration, stabilization, reclamation, or rehabilitation projects
* i.e., levee repairs, drainage improvements and flood control, runoff control, riverbank embankment, hydropower rehabilitation, stormwater/sewer capacity relief, river flood damage repair, eroding embankment stabilization, etc. (additional examples attached)
* Experience assisting with business development efforts.
* BA or Masters in Engineering (Civil or Environmental ideal)
* 40hr HAZWOPER, OSHA 10
* Professional Engineer (PE) License
* Expereince with USACE Tulsa or Mobile district highly preferred.
* CHMM (USACE Certified Hazardous Materials Manager) -- strongly preferred
* QCM -- quality control manager
Day to Day:
* Management of technical and administrative aspects of Civil Works projects.
* Meeting project scope, schedule, budget requirements.
* Directing, managing, and leading project teams to meet project objectives in-line with corporate and customer health & safety and quality expectations.
* Communicating effectively with clients, regulators, project team members, and company management.
* Effectively manage project risks and develop mitigation approaches and strategies.
* Support business development efforts, including leading or supporting proposal efforts.
* Ensuring accuracy of cost estimates and quality assurance documents.
* Providing leadership and direction of engineering support to construction operations to ensure successful execution of field work.
* Participate and lead project meetings with client and stakeholders.
* Engage in teambuilding, mentorship, and leadership of staff.
