Insight Global is searching for a Datasphere Architect for a large company in Oklahoma City.
The role involves defining and managing SAP Datasphere (DSP) sizing and performance, designing scalable data models, orchestrating resilient task chains, and setting up proactive monitoring and alerting systems. Responsibilities include ensuring data quality and governance, integrating DSP with hybrid environments, optimizing performance, and enabling business self-service analytics. Additional duties encompass implementing robust security and access controls, maintaining comprehensive documentation, and collaborating with various stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
Compensation: $80-83/hr.

- SAP Datasphere (DSP) Expertise: Deep understanding of DSP sizing, performance management, and integration.
- Data Modeling & Architecture: Ability to design scalable, modular data models and architect cross-space sharing while maintaining security and governance.
- Task Chain Orchestration & Automation: Skills in designing resilient task chains, implementing error handling and retry mechanisms, and monitoring executions.
- Monitoring & Alerting: Proficiency in setting up proactive monitoring systems and integrating real-time alerting for issue resolution.
- Data Quality & Governance: Experience in defining and enforcing data quality rules, building dashboards for KPIs, and collaborating with compliance teams.
- Integration & Interoperability: Knowledge of integrating DSP with hybrid environments, including cloud platforms like Snowflake.
- Performance Optimization: Ability to identify and resolve performance issues in data models using best practices in data modeling, indexing, and partitioning.
- Business Enablement & Self-Service: Skills in promoting self-service analytics, providing training and documentation, and aligning data models with business needs.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management: Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with data engineers, analysts, business users, and IT teams.
- Security & Access Control: Expertise in implementing robust access control mechanisms and ensuring compliance with data security standards.
Documentation & Standards: Ability to maintain comprehensive documentation, define naming conventions, and enforce version control and deployment standards.
