Insight Global is searching for a IT Security Analyst to join a large oil and gas company in OKC. This role involves monitoring and responding to security-related incidents by managing an incident ticket queue and processing emails related to phishing threats, security inquiries, and access requests. Responsibilities include creating and managing Active Directory (AD) accounts and groups, as well as approving and updating group memberships for new users. The role also requires daily security monitoring through Elastic (SIEM tool) to identify logon anomalies, network traffic issues, and phishing threats, followed by effective remediation and documentation. Additional tasks include troubleshooting security issues, maintaining security device sensor health, and performing periodic cleanup of stale contractor accounts to ensure robust security hygiene.
