Insight Global is looking for an Automation Technician to sit onsite in the Oklahoma City area (El Reno/Chickasha area). This is a direct hire position, paid on an hourly basis. The technician would leave to go check on the facilities, maintenance, and any building issues. Work with contractors to ensure projects are met. Addressing field issues that arise, salt water disposal facility, checking on monitors in the tank, working with electronics, troubleshooting, repair/ replace. Field work and some travel initially (travel would be reduced after the first 6 months, they are in the middle of a project roll out so after that initial 6 months it would be more area support). Company vehicle provided.

1-2 years of experience with controls and PLC understanding (programmable logic controller)
Experience with automation equipment, conveyor belts, pump panel
Instrumentation and electrical experience
Oil and Gas industry experience
