Job Description

Wont be directly interfacing with cloud vendor specific tasks, if they do, the one they would use is GCP product that's google cloud storage. Developing code, meetings with Ben and product managers (those happen once a week), they do 2 week sprints. Geared toward API back end dev. Some bug fix then new feature dev/ architecture. Every engineer needs to write their own tests for code that they right and then another engineer will do code review then PO plays QA role.

Required Skills & Experience

Java (17 preferred) or kotlin (kotlin preferred)

5+, 5-7 years

Use springboot, that experience in that would be ideal

Architecting systems, architecting projects and systems would be ideal

Capacity to look at different systems and decide how to connect the systems

Writing sql with postgress and MSSql, simple queries , definitely don't need to be a DBA

GCP is the cloud they use but not must have

Aware of strengths and areas for improvement

Strong work ethic

Coachable/teachable

Fast paced environment, kind of operate like a start up, resilience/flex if plans change

Ownership mentality, aware of other work besides his own, consulting, bringing suggestions

Strong attention to detail, have an eye for overall peformance but able to balance potential complexity

Mobile dev experience would be nice to have (ios or android)
