Job Description

Insight Global is hiring a Key Account Manager for a global manufacturer of industrial machinery. The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for supporting the company's clientele and market growth by establishing and maintaining long term customer relationships. They will work with a hand full of customers in America to understand their needs and present technical expertise. The KAM will also act as the liaison between the client and internal teams (including the engineering, project management, and manufacturing teams) to ensure that products and solutions are being delivered successfully and efficiently. In addition, they will spend time handling quotes, negotiations, and invoicing. This person will report to the Transit Business Development Manager and must sit in the Omaha area to be able to work on site at least 2 days a week. They also will be required to travel up to 25% of their time that may include the occasional need to stay over weekends.

Required Skills & Experience

* 3-5 years of experience in customer services sales, account management, product specialist or other related sales roles.

* Manufacturing, automotive, agriculture or related industry experience

* Strong relationship building and management skills.

* Proven experience creating customer focused solutions.

* Ability to work efficiently with both internal teams and external clients.

o Possess strong teamwork and collaboration skills.

* Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

* Background in mass transit, engineering, or automated people mover systems

* Previous experience as a Key Account Manager

* Experience with government contracting.
