Job Description

An employer in the Dayton, OH area is seeking a Radar Engineer to join their team as a direct hire employee. This individual researches, develops, analyzes, and optimizes advanced radar and sensing technologies used for surveillance, target detection, tracking, and situational awareness. Leveraging a strong foundation in physics, this role applies principles of electromagnetics, wave propagation, signal processing, and systems modeling to evaluate radar performance and solve complex technical challenges. Responsibilities include conducting modeling and simulation activities, analyzing test data, developing technical recommendations, supporting system integration and validation efforts, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to improve the effectiveness and reliability of mission-critical systems. The Radar Engineer also prepares technical reports and presentations, contributes to research and development initiatives, and drives innovative solutions that enhance system performance, accuracy, and operational capability in complex environments.

Required Skills & Experience

2-5 years of experience as a Radar Engineer
Bachelors degree in Physics, Electrical Engineering, Applied Physics or a related field
Extensive knowledge in radar systems, RF technologies, or signal processing
Experience with modeling and simulation tools such as MATLAB or Python
Active Secret clearance

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Active Top Secret SCI Clearance
