Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise cloud infrastructure. This role will drive cloud architecture initiatives, infrastructure automation, security best practices, and cloud migration efforts while partnering with cross-functional IT teams to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design, document, and present cloud architecture solutions in alignment with enterprise standards and governance requirements.
Build, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM Templates, CloudFormation).
Automate cloud deployments and configuration management to improve efficiency and reduce infrastructure drift.
Implement and manage cloud identity, access controls, and permission structures following least-privilege principles.
Lead cloud migration, modernization, and hybrid cloud initiatives.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex cloud infrastructure and performance issues.
Develop and maintain cloud standards, procedures, and best practices.
Optimize cloud environments for security, performance, reliability, and cost efficiency.
Mentor team members and provide technical leadership on cloud technologies.

Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of Cloud Engineering experience, including experience in a senior-level role.
Experience designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise cloud infrastructure.
Strong understanding of cloud platforms including Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with Infrastructure as Code and DevOps practices.
Strong networking knowledge, including TCP/IP fundamentals.
Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Azure Fundamentals or other cloud certifications.
Experience architecting enterprise cloud solutions in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.
Hands-on experience with Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
Experience with cloud migrations and hybrid cloud environments.
Knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Azure Entra ID.
Experience with cloud monitoring, observability, and cost optimization.
Understanding of OSI and SDLC frameworks.
Strong security-first mindset and knowledge of cloud security best practices.
