Job Summary

Our electrical utility client is seeking a Metering Engineer to supper their electrical engineering meter support team. The ideal candidate will understand how electrical usage is measured, how meter data flows through utility systems, and how that data impacts billing, operations, and regulatory compliance. An individual that has worked within a utility and has knowledge of transmission, substation, distribution, or generation, will find success in this position as the skillset is applicable. You will be working on 2-5 major and working with the engineering teams on new smart meter replacements.

Required Skills & Experience

Must Haves:
1–3 years engineering experience focused within utilty meters
Electrical Engineer degree or similar engineering degree
Fast Learner with System thinking abilities

Nice to Haves:
SKADA, AMI, or AMR experience
Vendor experience
Data Systems familiarity
Billing, operations, regulatory experience
