Job Description

The Network Engineer supports the Air Force Rapid Sustainment Office (RSO) by providing advanced network architecture, engineering, and cybersecurity sustainment for software-intensive technologies. The RSO increases mission readiness by rapidly identifying, applying, and scaling technology essential to the operation and sustainment of the U.S. Air Force. This role bridges technical network execution with rigorous DoD compliance frameworks to design, deploy, and maintain a secure, closed, isolated network environment replicated across three distinct operational sites, while engineering the framework for future secure interconnections and NIPR cloud integration. Success in this role comes from teamwork, mutual respect for each other’s talents and unique perspectives, and ensuring total network compliance with strict DoD security mandates.
