About the Role: HNB is looking for an experienced IAM Engineer (Senior) with strong expertise in Separation of Duties (SoD), risk reduction, and access governance. In this high impact role, you’ll help design and operationalize controls that protect the bank, strengthen compliance, and support our IAM program’s continuous maturity.

Required Skills & Experience
Must Haves:
o 2+ years of experience in IAM, Information Security, or cross-functional security environments.
o Experience executing IAM and SoD controls.
o Understanding of what a toxic combination is
o Ability to analyze access patterns, interpret risk impacts, and recommend solutions.
o Strong communication skills for partnering with Risk, Audit, and business teams.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Plusses:
o SailPoint experience
o CISSP, CISM, or similar certifications
o Bachelor’s in Cybersecurity, Information Security, or related field
o Experience in banking, audit, regulatory functions, or risk management
Job Description:
o Maintain and enhance enterprise SoD standards, controls, and processes.
o Ensure SoD alignment with NIST and internal risk frameworks.
o Analyze SoD conflicts and partner with application, risk, and infrastructure teams on remediation.
o Support IAM governance activities such as role design and access reviews.
o Contribute to IAM projects and capability improvements in partnership with the IAM Program Manager.
