Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:
· Proactive monitoring of Datastage performance and storage utilization
· Assist Development teams on new project creation, file directory setup, access provisioning and firewall rule creation
· Consult with Development on job performance, including consulting on database and file system performance
· Provision user and system access to ensure the least required privilege and separation of duties
· Ensure our environments are current and updated by applying system upgrades, certificate updates and ensuring system patches are applied as expected
· Support CI/CD job promotion process across environments
· Partner with IBM Support team to troubleshoot issues and apply updates
· Collaborate with development teams to implement best practices for job development, testing, and deployment.
· Enhance security practices and ensure compliance with enterprise technology standards and regulatory expectations.
· Identify improvement and automation opportunities for our internal processes and procedures
· Author and maintain internal documentation
· Provide operational support for system access and platform availability, including on-call rotation outside of standard business hours

Salary: 125-135K depending on experience

Required Skills & Experience

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field
· 5+ years of experience with supporting ETL platforms/processes
· 2+ years of experience supporting IBM DataStage as an administrator
· 2+ years of Software Development experience, preferably in ETL job development

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Preferred Qualifications:
· Experience with PL/SQL scripting, PowerShell, Python, or Bash Scripting
· Experience developing and maintain role-based user access processes (RBAC)
· Knowledge of Data Warehouses, ETL architecture and best practices
· Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
· Strong data analytical skills
· Experience with Unix/Linux based file systems
· Experience troubleshooting and updating ODBC/JDBC drivers
· Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handle multiple priorities and effectively prioritize them
· Experience working in a consumer-centric company, partnering with teams of technical professionals in a cross-functional environment
· Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
· Experience with GIT repository
· Experience with ServiceNow
· Experience in Financial Services or another regulated industry
