Job Description
• Lead the analysis, design, and implementation of new business features or enhancements to existing systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (architecture, infrastructure, cybersecurity, and others) to deliver comprehensive and scalable software architectures.
• Develop and maintain automated pipelines for building, testing, and deploying software.
• Implement robust test automation processes, including unit tests, pipeline automation, and code scanning, to ensure software quality.
• Contribute to an agile team by iteratively delivering high-value software solutions.
Current Projects:
• Business case to solve for: minimal oversight.
• Expectation- mid level bc of limited support. Use cases 1 have legacy API building informatica and translating it into AWS and adding new enhancements with API's. Will be building RestApis on AWS. Will most likely have node based code. Someoen who has done AWS Dev in the past will have these skills
• (maintenance and vendors) all maintenance Is done by external vendors. WO sent on what is to do on the aircraft. NJ Systems integrated into external vendors systems.
• Javascript/ Java based Lambda's. push code and then managed by AWS
• Other use cases: Manage parts to have efficencies. Ship parts to matenence teams who are performaing WO. When issuing a part from internal warehouse, keeping track internally. The process rn is PO with supplier but no tracking / deliveries/ updates. Getting manual reports via email etc. about shipments/updates. Technicians have no visibility to this. Individual tracking this via pdfs' emails. Person will start on maintence processing. Being built on AWS. Need to clasify documents and imputing them into AWS

Required Skills & Experience
• 4+ years of experience working as a software engineer
Proficiency in programming languages: Java
• Strong knowledge of container-based application development and cloud-native practices.
• Experience with AWS services, including API Gateway, Lambda, Step Functions, AppSync, DynamoDB, ECS, and EKS
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience with Apache Kafka, Camel-K, Informatica, and React Native.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (K8S), Terraform, Helm, and AWS CDK.
• CI/CD pipeline experience (Jenkins preferred).
• Experience with frameworks and tools: React, Grails, Spring Boot, Node.js.
• Expertise in REST & Graph QL API design and development.
