Job Description

A top General Contractor in the Cincinnati is seeking a Carpenter for large-scale commercial projects. This role includes both concrete/formwork carpentry and interior finish carpentry, depending on project needs. Candidates will play a hands-on role in building structural and finish components while working in fast-paced, safety-driven environments such as healthcare campuses and large institutions. Ideal candidates are self-sufficient, detail-oriented, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a crew to deliver high-quality work on time.

Day-to-Day:
- Participate in morning huddles with full project team and crew-level planning
- Perform concrete formwork, framing, and structural carpentry tasks (exterior roles)
- Install interior finishes such as wall protection, door hardware, cabinetry, and accessories
- Read and execute work based on blueprints and layout requirements
- Measure, cut, assemble, and install building materials accurately
- Work independently or paired with a crew member depending on task
- Maintain tools, PPE, and safe/clean job site conditions
- Follow all OSHA and site-specific safety standards
- Collaborate with project managers, foremen, and other trades

Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of commercial/industrial carpentry experience
-Experience with construction job sites (formwork, framing, concrete work)
- OSHA 30
- Experience with concrete formwork systems (e.g., Gates #9, Meva or similar)
- Fall protection training/ willing to climb
- Own PPE: Type II helmet, harness (for concrete/exterior), gloves, eye protection
- Clean background
- Reliable transportation

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

- Foreman/leadership experience
- Interior carpentry skills (wall protection, casework, hardware install)
