Job Description
PRIMARY PURPOSE
A Payroll Clerk III is responsible for accurately inputting data from timesheets, production records, and individual time cards into a computerized payroll system. This role includes balancing payroll runs, processing federal, state, and local tax payments, and assisting employees by answering questions and troubleshooting payroll issues. The position requires a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 5+ years of related experience, along with a strong understanding of standard payroll practices and procedures. The individual works under supervision, following established guidelines, and typically does not require independent decision-making. This role reports directly to a supervisor or manager.
Main Responsibilities

Answering employee questions and troubleshooting issues

Required Skills & Experience
MUST HAVES :
• High School diploma
• 5+ years of experience within corporate payroll or related area such as tax payments
Experience working with employees or customers to resolve issues
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
PLUSSES :
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Experience handling federal tax payments
