Role Overview
Insight Global is seeking a Senior MuleSoft Developer to serve as a hands‑on integration specialist responsible for designing, developing, and supporting enterprise‑grade MuleSoft solutions. This role requires deep experience with API‑led architecture, strong ownership of integration design decisions, and the ability to work independently in a global delivery model.
This is a senior individual contributor role with expectations around technical leadership, best‑practice enforcement, and solution quality.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the design and development of MuleSoft integrations using Anypoint Platform
Architect and implement API‑led connectivity (System, Process, and Experience APIs)
Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and integration services
Build complex data transformations using DataWeave
Ensure integrations meet performance, scalability, security, and reliability standards
Support deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting across environments
Partner with solution architects, product owners, and business stakeholders
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior MuleSoft developers
Participate in code reviews and enforce MuleSoft best practices
Create and maintain technical documentation and integration standards
PR: $12-$20/hr

Required Skills & Experience
7+ years of overall integration or application development experience
5+ years of hands‑on MuleSoft development using Anypoint Platform
Strong expertise in API‑led architecture and enterprise integration patterns
Advanced experience with DataWeave, error handling, and exception frameworks
Strong understanding of REST, HTTP, JSON, XML, OAuth, and security concepts
Experience integrating enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, databases, SaaS platforms)
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and automated deployments
Ability to work independently in a remote, globally distributed team
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
MuleSoft Certification(s) – Strongly Preferred
MuleSoft Certified Developer (MCD)
MuleSoft Certified Integration Architect (MCIA)
Experience integrating with SAP, Salesforce, Oracle, or similar enterprise platforms
Cloud experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Experience with event‑driven or asynchronous integrations
Background supporting high‑volume, mission‑critical integrations
