Job Description

Day-to-Day: Insight Global is currently seeking
to fill a Lead and Senior Technical Analyst roles within their indirect tax technology team. This position plays a critical role in a large-scale ERP migration project, supporting the implementation and ongoing optimization of a tax engine used across international operations spanning Europe, Latin America, and Asia-Pacific. The ideal candidate brings hands-on indirect tax implementation experience, strong enterprise-level technical skills, and the ability to lead and collaborate across cross-functional teams — and must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively partner with both technical and business stakeholders.
Salary Range: 119k- 154k

Required Skills & Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field — or equivalent professional experience in lieu of degree
5+ years of hands-on indirect tax implementation experience, including leading or co-leading at least one full-cycle implementation
3+ years of experience working with a recognized tax engine platform (OneSource Determination, Vertex, or Avalara)
3+ years of enterprise-level ERP implementation experience, preferably within Oracle Fusion/Cloud or Oracle 11i environments
3+ years of experience implementing indirect tax solutions for at least one international region (EMEA, APAC, or LATAM)
2+ years of experience in a lead or senior capacity with direct oversight of team members, contractors, or project workstreams
Demonstrated ability to work on-site full-time (5 days per week) at the client's Cleveland, Ohio headquarters

Key Responsibilities
Lead end-to-end indirect tax configuration and implementation activities within a large-scale Oracle Fusion/Cloud ERP environment
Serve as the primary subject matter expert for the tax engine platform, overseeing system design, rule configuration, and integration with enterprise systems
Manage and mentor team members and contractors, providing technical direction and oversight throughout project phases
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, accounting, IT, and third-party implementation partners to ensure tax requirements are accurately captured and delivered
Support and expand e-invoicing capabilities across international regions including EMEA, APAC, and LATAM as the organization scales globally
Troubleshoot and resolve post-go-live tax engine issues, coordinating with internal teams and external vendors to maintain system stability
Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation including configuration guides, process flows, and system integration specifications
Partner with internal stakeholders to assess business requirements and translate them into scalable, compliant indirect tax technology solutions
