Job Description

Job Description:

A Foam‑in‑Place Engineer at TS Tech is responsible for developing and maintaining the foam injection process used in automotive components like headrests. When a new product is introduced, they determine the correct amount of foam to inject, adjust polymer ratios, and fine‑tune the process to ensure consistent quality. They review and adjust foam volumes as needed, making sure the foam fills properly and works with how the tooling fits inside the part. • Adjust and fine‑tune polymer ratios to ensure proper foam quality, consistency, and performance
• Review foam fill levels and make process adjustments to prevent defects or waste
• Ensure tooling fits correctly inside headrest covers and supports proper foam expansion
• Troubleshoot foam and process issues on the production floor and implement improvements
• Support continuous process improvement efforts to improve efficiency, quality, and repeatability
