Job Description
Insight Global is seeking a VDI Engineer to support our clients virtual desktop environment. This role will primarily focus on Tier 1 and Tier 2 support, handling incoming incidents and service requests related to VDI access, performance, and user issues.
The engineer will intake tickets through ServiceNow, email, phone, and Teams, troubleshoot and resolve issues, and escalate when necessary. Strong communication is critical, as this role will interact directly with end users to gather requirements, explain resolutions, and ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
This individual will work closely with the Dision HI Team, supporting ongoing implementations and day to day operations, while monitoring system health and maintaining a stable virtual desktop experience. The role sits on a small, collaborative team and requires someone who is proactive, reliable, and comfortable owning Tier 1/Tier 2 VDI support responsibilities. This role is roughly 40-50hr

Required Skills & Experience
• 5+ years of overall IT experience with hands on VDI support
• Experience supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure in an enterprise environment
• Strong experience working tickets and providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 support
• Excellent communication skills; able to support end users clearly and professionally
• Proven ability to be a self starter and manage workload independently
• Experience troubleshooting user issues, access problems, and performance-related VDI issues
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
• Experience supporting or working within the Dision HI Team environment
• Background in desktop or end user support
• Experience with Active Directory and basic networking concepts
• ServiceNow or similar ticketing tool experience
• Experience supporting high visibility or executive users
