Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Perform dimensional testing and dimensional analysis on parts and components
Handle and test metal, plastic, nuts, bolts, and building materials
Assist with the physical aspects of testing, including loading and unloading parts from test machines
Support mechanical load testing (tension, compression, basic physical testing)
Accurately document test results and measurements in Excel templates
Complete basic report writing and data documentation
Follow established lab procedures and safety guidelines
Support evolving lab processes, including benchmark testing of new or comparative products

Required Skills & Experience

Ability and willingness to perform hands-on, physical lab work
Comfortable working with basic hand tools, gauges, and calipers
Strong attention to detail for data entry and documentation
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
Ability to follow instructions and procedures precisely
Mechanical curiosity and an understanding of how parts and systems fit together
Safety‑minded approach when working with equipment and materials
