Job Description
Lead the recertification of the cryogenic hydrogen system, which has been out of service
Engineer the rebuild and restoration of the oxygen system, including significant system upgrades and validation work
Provide engineering support for fluid and gas systems, including cryogenic, high‑pressure, and facility distribution systems
Integrate customer and test requirements into fluid and gas system designs and configurations
Ensure all systems meet applicable safety standards, specifications, and regulatory requirements
Support system testing, commissioning, and readiness activities associated with facility reactivation
Serve as the long‑term system lead / SME for cryogenic and fluid/gas systems, supporting ongoing operations and future upgrades

Required Skills & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
Demonstrated experience with cryogenic hydrogen and oxygen systems
Strong working knowledge of fluid and gas systems, including pressure systems and piping
Familiarity with ASME B31.3 piping code (highly desirable)
Experience supporting system recertification, restoration, or reactivation efforts
Solid understanding of engineering safety standards related to cryogenic and high‑pressure systems
Ability and interest in serving as a long‑term system owner and technical authority
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Prior NASA or DOD experience
