Job Description
An employer is seeking a Trades Manager for a contract to hire opportunity in the Columbus, OH area. This role will support onsite construction operations and ensure safe, efficient execution of work across multiple trades. This role requires a strong construction background, the ability to work independently, and a hands-on leadership approach in the field.
The ideal candidate is a seasoned professional who understands construction means and methods, can manage trade activity onsite, and proactively drives safety compliance while supporting overall project execution.

Required Skills & Experience
10–15 years of experience in construction safety, trade management, or field operations
Ability to work independently
Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety best practices
Reliable transportation to jobsite(s)
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
Bilingual
Prior experience in a Safety Manager, Safety Coordinator, or Trades Manager role
Safety certifications such as OSHA 30, CHST, CSP, or similar
Experience managing or supporting multiple subcontractors and trades
Background working on large-scale or complex construction projects
