Job Description

A client in the Columbus, OH area is looking for a Human Resources Site Manager to join their team. This person will be the main HR point-of-contact for this site location and will oversee 70-80 office employees that will include warehouse personnel, managers, and district managers. Responsibilities will include acting as an advisor to station leadership in all HR functions; maintaining compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; and communicating the HR initiatives from corporate and ensuring that the initiatives are being utilized throughout the station. On a daily basis, he/she should expect to provide oversight and guidance pertaining to various aspects of human resources like, performance improvement, harassment, discrimination legal/employment issues, etc. Lastly, the ideal candidate will have experience in the recruiting process, that will include facilitating interviews, background checks, and ensuring the onboarding process is executed in a timely manner. This role is required to be onsite 5 day per week and the salary ranges from $110,000-$115,000 per year.

Required Skills & Experience

-5-6+ years’ experience in an HR business partner role

-5-6+ years employee relations (Specific to building constructive and effective relationships across the organization)

-Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills

-Knowledge of HR disciplines and US employment law
UKG experience preferred or other HRIS systems

-BA in Human Resources preferred or equivalent years of experience
