Job Description

The Senior Control-M Workload Automation Analyst is responsible for supporting enterprise-wide and software-as-a-service (SaaS) applications that enable data collection, accessibility, and reporting across the organization. This role works closely with technical teams, stakeholders, and vendors to ensure systems are stable, efficient, and aligned with business needs. The analyst will configure and maintain applications, build custom queries and reports, monitor system performance, and provide recommendations to optimize performance and reduce risk. This position also includes training users, managing access controls, and supporting enterprise workload automation using BMC Control-M. This is a remote position.

Additional Responsibilities:
• Provide advanced support for SaaS and enterprise-wide applications
• Configure, update, and maintain application environments
• Ensure accurate data loading into system tables and databases
• Define governance standards for data input, structure, and storage
• Develop reports and analytics to support business decision-making
• Set up user access and train users on supported applications
• Recommend improvements to application development, maintenance, and system standards
• Monitor system performance and analyze metrics to identify optimization opportunities
• Collaborate with cross-functional technical teams to ensure system integration
• Liaise with internal stakeholders and external vendors for application support
• Support enterprise workload automation and job scheduling using Control-M

This role is roughly 110-140K.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Technology (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Application Development, etc.) OR 7+ years of enterprise-wide software support experience in lieu of a degree
• 4–6 years of experience supporting enterprise-wide applications
• Strong experience with Control 9
• Experience supporting SaaS and enterprise-wide systems
• Strong experience configuring, setting up, and maintaining enterprise applications
• Experience with database management and maintenance
• Ability to develop custom queries and build reports using reporting/query tools
• Knowledge of data management best practices and quality control processes
• Experience applying security designs and access control principles
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams and external vendors

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

• 3+ years of experience with BMC Control-M Workload Automation
• Strong knowledge of Control-M job scheduling and workflow automation
• Experience troubleshooting failed jobs and workflows in production
• Experience with Control-M version 9.x (web and client)
• Experience managing job scheduling across multiple business units and systems
• Experience with job flow mapping and business/technical requirements analysis
• Experience using Workload Change Manager
• Certifications in ITIL, Microsoft, and/or Oracle
