Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer will be responsible for developing innovative design solutions, creating technical drawings and documentation, and supporting the product development process from concept to production. This role involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet performance, quality, safety, and cost requirements.
The salary range for this position is $100,000- $110,000.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical)
• 10+ years of Electrical Engineering
• Strong proficiency in 3D design software (e.g., CAD tools such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
• Good understanding of engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes
• Experience in a design or product development role
• Familiarity with simulation tools, prototyping, or testing methods
Knowledge of electrical standards or certifications-CSA, IEC, Atex, communication protocol background- hartmodbus, profibus

Nice to Have Skills & Experience

Experience in actuator electrical testing
