Job Description
As an IT Analyst you'll participate in the review of current processes and metrics that support operational effectiveness, identifies constraints, or opportunities that could inhibit or accelerate the business and technology strategy. You’ll be responsible for developing artifacts (documents, dashboards, process flows, code reviews) that accurately describe current state processes, practices, and/or metrics as well as capturing opportunities to simplify our processes while also improving KRI/KPI or operational metrics. Additionally, as the IT Analyst, you'll facilitate discussions with IT, Product, and Business subject matter experts to capture relevant insights while also reviewing the artifacts you produce to validate the completeness and accuracy of the content. This role would also be responsible for the capture and upkeep of KRIs, KPIs, and Operational Metrics, as necessary.
• Coordinate and complete assigned projects with minimal supervision. Set & meet deadlines, communicate effectively with your manager & colleagues, complete project status reports, and identify and resolve technical problems.
• Complete assigned artifacts that are complete & have a high level of quality.
• Leverage basic understanding of Microsoft Office & Diagramming Software (e.g. Lucid, Visio, etc.) while also demonstrating strong process and data analysis skills.
• Analyze telecom invoices and service inventories to identify billing errors, cost reduction opportunities, and usage anomalies.
• Coordinate with telecom carriers and vendors to install ordered service
• Support contract and service review activities, including identifying optimization opportunities (disconnects, downgrades, consolidations).
• Develop and maintain reports and dashboards related to telecom spending, circuit inventory, usage trends, and cost allocation.
• Track recurring expenses, one-time charges, and service changes to ensure cost transparency and forecasting accuracy.
• Maintain accurate documentation of telecom services, circuit IDs, carrier handoffs, and associated infrastructure details.
• Assist with documentation and reporting of communication and network infrastructure (circuits, handoffs, demarcation points, etc.).
• Support internal coordination for telecom-related changes: scheduling, notification, and stakeholder communication.
• Participate in or support network design activities and service implementation planning (as assigned).
• Support troubleshooting for telecom infrastructure issues by coordinating with carriers, facilities, and network teams.
• Ensure proper tracking of fiber services, terminations, cross-connects, and handoffs.
• Maintain awareness of supporting infrastructure such as power and facility dependencies (UPS, PDU, ATS) as it relates to telecom/network services.

Required Skills & Experience
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Bachelor's degree in related field required.
• Entry level knowledge of general Financial Services or Banking is preferred.
• Entry level knowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards and practices
• Entry level to intermediate process and data analysis skills.
• Entry level experience in analysis of a specific IT domain (Data Analysts, Quality Assurance Analysts, Product Owners/Managers, Finance Analysts, or Business Systems Analysts).
• Entry level speaking and writing communications skills.
• Experience with telecom expense management processes (inventory, audits, chargeback/cost allocation).
• Familiarity with power infrastructure concepts and monitoring tools (UPS, PDU, ATS, power management software)
• Exposure to circuit inventory tools, ticketing systems, and vendor management workflows
• CCNA or equivalent networking certification
